GRID Demo is Codemaster's latest racing game for Windows. Like its previous installment, GRID delivers amazing graphics and superior playability. This demo allows you to race on two different tracks, with two different cars. The first car is a BMW 320Si and a Ford Mustang GTR muscle car. The one thing they tried to achieve with this game is to treat the user with environments and graphics that are true to a real racing game. As some have said, a racing game has to be fast. You are probably used to controlling an Aston Martin around a track for countless laps without a hitch; well, those days are well over. This game delivers fast action and awesome crashes. It is terribly hard to control the cars and each car drivers differently, which is great and realistic. There is a nice feature that isn't realistic at all - the replay feature. Thanks to it, you are allowed to review the last seconds of your driving prior to a severe crash and resume from anywhere in the sequence, to avoid a finishing crash. That feature allows you to also start over or replay the last segment. As I said, the cars are significantly more difficult to maneuver but it is really more rewarding to be able to pick it up and excel in a race.
